Projection mapping vs LED screens — how to choose?

Choose mapping when the physical form is the point: real objects, terrain, architecture, texture. Choose LED when you need daylight brightness and pure image quality. Mapping wins on tactility and premium feel in controlled light; LED wins in bright, open venues. Many MLABART projects combine both.

How precise can the alignment be?

Millimetre-level on sculpted objects — light traces ridges and water follows riverbeds in the Starbucks terrain piece. Precision comes from producing content and physical form from the same 3D data, then calibrating zone by zone on site.

What venues suit projection?

Controlled-light environments: exhibition halls, indoor pop-ups, evening outdoor façades. For bright atriums we assess ambient light and either specify higher-lumen projection or recommend LED instead — honestly.
